This last weekend we went to visit family out in San Francisco area, mainly it was to spend time with our dear nieces. We have not been able to see them for a year, they only recently moved from Florida to California. We loved the time we got to spend with them, they love to play in the princess tent with uncle Brian and read books with aunt Chriss. Great-Grandma brought them balls to play with and they were such a hit, we spent a good deal of time playing with the balls.
within minutes of arriving, Brian is in the popup princess house with the girls
For me, Chriss, I love watching Brian play with these girls. I love seeing him be the horsey or put them on his shoulders and ride around with them. For him put all the new hair bows in his hair to show the oldest one he can wear them too. I love having the girls come to me with a book in their hands that they want read to them. It melts our hearts when they come running up to us and want to give us big hugs.
she loved having her very own 'horsey'
As we were leaving and saying goodbye to these dear girls, I was holding the two year old and wearing my Families Supporting Adoption shirt. On the design there is a mom, a dad and a child in the middle, this dear niece pointed to each one and said "Mommy, Daddy, baby." It tugged on my heart strings something fierce, and I looked at her and told her she was right.
We know each family is formed in its own unique way and we know we are suppose to adopt. We know that there is so much love to go around and that when we are blessed with our child we hope to be blessed to have the birth parents involved as well. Because a child can never have enough love.
